WaterFire Providence’s mission is to creatively transform and inspire our city. Our community is strengthened when we join together to celebrate the significant moments and passages of our lives, to acknowledge each other’s triumphs and successes; and to commemorate our reasons for rejoicing. Your special moment can be celebrated in the midst of the joy of WaterFire.
Commemorating a special event, honoring a friend or colleague, rejoicing in one of life’s milestones, acknowledging the remarkable accomplishments of those we love, or simply gathering together to toast each other, are all events that should be shared. You are invited to join us in creating a special commemoration event of your own as part of WaterFire.
Whether it is through arranging a surprise display of gorgeous Luminaria candle lanterns in the park in someone’s honor; having flowers distributed to the crowd to share in a particular person’s accomplishment or retirement; inviting a friend to light WaterFire’s braziers for the evening; giving someone a special Brazier Society Membership; catering a surprise toast or picnic at WaterFire for your employees; commissioning a special fire dance, or Chinese Dragon dance, in someone’s honor; or having your honoree lead a special torch procession to excite the imagination of the WaterFire audience - there are countless ways to honor and celebrate the people you cherish in a very personal and joyful way. We would love to work with you to commemorate the important events in your life and acknowledge those you hold dear. Please email us with a short description of your own special event. Tell us more about yourself, what you have in mind, the time frame, and give us an idea of the scale and budget for your event. We will email back to you a selection of fun and creative ideas to get you thinking. The special events we create range from the simple beauty of a mysteriously delivered bouquet to much more exuberant, original or lavish creations. We create a wide variety of exciting options that will work for all sorts of events for from two to two hundred people, with different prices to fit every budget. We are also happy to work with your event planner.
