Honoring the scholarship recipients from the Latino Dollars for Scholars presented at the Salsa stage.

AUGUST 18, 2007 

A special project in Memorial Park presented by the Rhode Island Shriners and WaterFire where we will dedicate a luminaria to every child in Rhode Island facing a critical illness.  Working with imPossible Dream and The Make a Wish Foundation RI Chapter, we present over one hundred wishes that these children are seeking to have fullfilled.  We invite you and all those who attend WaterFire to read these wishes and find one that you can help come true.  Volunteers will be on hand in the park to provide more information about how to accomplish this and about the programs of the Rhode Island Shriners, the imPossible Dream, and The Make a Wish Foundation

OCTOBER 6, 2007 

A special lighting of WaterFire in cooperation with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.  All proceeds from Luminaria Lantern sales on this evening will be split between WaterFire and the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
