Share your Dedication with the World at WaterFire

For a $5 donation or more, WaterFire invites you to dedicate your paper lantern with a commemoration, a hope, a wish, a rememberance, your name, or the reason for your visit to WaterFire.  You will light your candle lantern and be led into the park where you will place it in a special spot.  All the dedication cards are saved and preserved in a book at WaterFire.  

Tables will be open from sunset until 11:00 pm.

Luminaria Stations are located along the river, they are indicated on the map below.

Saturday, June 26th, 2010: Wishes Into Reality

For the first time ever The Met School, WaterFire Providence, and Cox Communications join forces in a sparkling celebration of the accomplishments and dreams of Met students.  Members of The Met School’s senior and junior classes have placed personalized Luminaria lanterns and dedication cards in an awe-inspiring formation symbolizing student involvement and the power to dream.
